Increase Supervisor Abilities
It would be very helpful if the following were available for Supervisors:
- When an Intern/Resident completes a note, there should be a mechanism for them to submit the note for approval to the Supervisor.
- The Supervisor should then receive an indicator that there are notes that need to be approved.
- The Supervisor should then have the ability to approve or reject the Intern/Resident note.
- If the note is rejected, the Supervisor should have the ability to send corrections and comments in some format back to the Intern/Resident for correction.
- At that point, the Intern/Resident should then be able to receive an indicator that the Supervisor has rejected the note, see the corrections and comments and then resubmit the note back to the Supervisor.
- Then the Supervisor will receive an indicator that the note has been resubmitted and the process can begin again.
- When the Supervisor approves a note, the Intern/Resident will receive an indicator that the note has been approved and can then sign the note permanently.
