Jituzu and Teletherapy needs complete overhual ....
Like many of my colleagues, I have had a crash course in delivering teletherapy, trial by fire. I converted my entire practice from an in office delivery model to only virtual online services; all in two days!. I started with Jituzu for teletherapy and over time became frustrated in the limitations of usable; browser restrictions and device related complications. I spent way too much time explaining / guiding clients through the sign on process, which in some cases needed repeating on follow up sessions.
I have done extensive research and field tested MULTIPLE platforms. I was ready to ditch MCP/Jituzu all together, but have not found a platform which meets all my service needs (in one place). I now am using 3 different HIPAA compliant internet services so I can provide all my services in an easy to use online manner. I no longer use Jituzu for teletherapy. After trying other platforms I see just how out dated Jituzu is. (I thought the revisions made to MCP were very good, it would be nice to see the same level of improvements with Jituzu.)
I would love for MCP/Jituzu to cover all my tech needs (in addition to all that MCP/Jituzu does do)
What I need is .....
1. The sign-in process for clients' telethearpy sessions needs to be simple and intuitive; regardless of what browser or devise the client uses.
2. I need the ability to serve couples when they are in different locations; a must have. (And I might also try online group work at sometime in the future.)
3. I need the ability to create and exchange forms. And also obtain client signatures for disclosures and releases.
Having all these services through one provider certainly would simplify and eliminate redundant data entry; and most likely would result in overall cost savings. I do continue to research for such a platform. If do find such a service, I will be strongly consider switch services away from MCP/Jituzu.
I strive to deliver a quality time efficient services. I have valued MCP for many years and hope that I don't have to switch or learn a new program. I do encourage a major over haul of Jituzu. It is needed to remain competitive and to meet the changing needs of your current and future customers. You have a good starting point and you all did a great job improving MCP.
